SUMMER CAMP SIGN UP
Sign up for a South Iredell High School Robotics Club run summer camp teaching 7th-12th graders about FTC robotics.

Teams BobSpeed and Fury will be hosting a summer camp for FTC middle and high school robotics. The camp is aimed towards 7th-12th graders and will be held on two different sessions. The first session will occur from June 18th-21st while the second session will occur from June 25th-28th. Both sessions will be located at South Iredell High School, 299 Old Mountain Road Statesville, NC 28677, from 8:30am-11:30am.
Campers will be taught how to design, build, and program an FTC based robot by working on a team with other middle and high school kids. Opportunities will be given to learn professional methods of leadership and teamwork through a brief learning experience of the First Tech Challenge.
Summer Camp Daily Objectives
Day 1:
- Learn teamwork skills
- Learn to design your robot in a CAD software
- Learn to design parts to 3D print
Day 2:
- Finish CAD model
- Print 3D parts
- Assemble robot
Day 3:
- Learn to code using Java on Android Studios
- Code for the robot controllers
- Practice challenge
Day 4:
- Finish controller coding
- Compete
