ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FLL COMPETITION

Similar to yesterday, we set out to prepare to referee along with introducing our team and with FTC, ran our demo robot to inspire others to join FTC robotics in high school, ran the practice rounds; referee that actual competitions, and gave out awards during the awards ceremony. One improvement from yesterday to focus on is to offer our mentorship to teams so we can help them grow in the next season.

With elementary school FLL teams, there is a slightly different dynamic to adjust to. It was more difficult to try to drive our demo robot around and to get other kids to try driving our robot. Though fewer kids interested in our robot because we were a high school level robotics team and they still had an opportunity to continue FLL robotics during middle school.
